17. Jason went on holiday on april 19th. If he was on holiday for 10 days, on what day did his holiday end? On wednesday 29th of April.
18. Mary's school camp ended at 4 o'clock on the 24th of april. If the school camp was for 5 days, on what day did she go to camp? Her camp finished on sunday the 19th of April.

In Maths this term we have been learning about FRACTIONS


I can find fractions of whole numbers like:

½ of 12 =6                       ⅓ of 9=3                1/10 of 20=2

⅔ of 12=8               ⅘ of 10= 8             

I can recognise when a  fraction is greater than 1:

½ + ½ + ½ = 1 1/2

⅓ + ⅓ + ⅓ + ⅓ = 1 1/3

7/4 = 1 3/4
